The character design for the Eroge! is good. As a light and breezy show about the joys of game development research it may get weird from time to time however it never left me with emotional damage like so many other hentai while providing me with a wide array of weird sex acts to enjoy for variety sake, if you’re looking for vanilla then the first two episodes are quite tame. While not being so horrendous as the hentai referenced most obviously in Episode 5 (Euphoria) it touches on more niche categories while keeping it tame enough that it does not put off a majority of it’s viewers. The part that threw me off the most was most definingly the scat moments of the show.

The storyline was not so heavy with regards to the show however it gave it some semblance of structure which kept the absurdity of the character relationships from collapsing in on itself, being light enough for people to jump in and out of the series as they pleased knowing mostly what was going on within the context of an episode.Īs hentai go, this show gets more ero as the show progresses from simple sex to pee to lactation and forced orgasm while dipping slightly into rape (barely). Overall the story is quite simple however it provides scenarios that less forcefully create sexual encounters between characters acting as plot lubricant to take the story from act to act throughout the course of an episode.

Seeking to improve their work, the various members decide to take advantage of their new resource MC-kun to gain more experience as reference for their future game’s art and story. Our protagonist, a new hire to the studio, realizes the crew’s lack of sexual experience through their failure of a first game due to, like many of us, his crippling addiction to hentai providing him with a vast library of knowledge on what makes or breaks a good eroge. Exploring the process of creating a highly popular medium such as eroge, similarly to video games and anime, has a strong appeal to the a wide spectrum of consumers and the Eroge! series delivers upon the artistic side of that process through the failing local studio Flower. The concept of a hentai about creating eroge is an entertaining premise that has seen success in the anime scene in titles such as New Game! and Shirobako.

Eroge! strikes me as an above average hentai with an interesting environment and phenomenal animation which just about differentiates it from the sea of hentai. The characters bounced off each other well and the show had a few winks towards the hentai community in the constant reminders that the loli project manager was 32 by branding it on her hand or the back and forth between characters in the middle of them committing dirty deeds which made for great chemistry however it was no Baka na Imouto. It gave us good dialogue, quality animation and a plot that didn’t need an invested viewer however kept the story moving as well as providing motivation behind the ero scenes which led to better character development than hentai characters usually get. Eroge! H mo Game mo Kaihatsu Zanmai is a good hentai, maybe even a great hentai standing as one of the most popular hentai to date for its accessibility to the vast public with episodes appealing to the creeps and the vanilla weeblets.
